Commercial Polaroid filters on an OHP. 1. Big Polaroid and rotateable Polaroid in the parallel position: light is transmitted in the overlapping section. 2. Big Polaroid and rotateable Polaroid in the crossed position: no light is transmitted in the overlapping section. 3. Small Polaroid inserted between Big Polaroid and rotateable Polaroid in the crossed position: light is transmitted in the overlapping section.
