Water expelled through hose shows dependence on angle and cross sectional area

A piece of tubing is connected to a nozzle on the lectern. The amount of water flowing in can be controlled by the faucet. The end of the tube can be constricted to decrease the area water is passing through and hence increase the exit velocity. The hose can be tilted to show the distance traveled as a dependency on angle.
