Mechanical Model of a Gas: Vibrating balls strike piston on OHP. The Apparatus is a simple mechanical model to represent gas molecules in a cylinder colliding with a moveable piston with increasing energy as the gas is heated. Projected Image Model of a Gas: Electric Motor vibrates the steel balls. Piston changes the volume. Note: Same set-up as A+35+30 and C+10+5
