Whip

Cow Whip. A 6' leather cow whip can be accelerated until it exceeds the speed of sound. The result is a small sonic boom. To make the crack sound, the formation of a loop is essential. As the loop propagates down the whip, the radius of the loop becomes smaller and the whip accelerates. Eventually, it will pass the sound barrier and make the familiar crack. Note: This is not a toy, but a real whip. If you don't have experience with whips, please stop by the demo office at least a day in advance. Alternatively, you can ask the demo staff to perform the demo, but make sure to coordinate with them.
