Simple motor rolls straight and in circle

Two different motors can be constructed using magnets and a AA cell. One has a wider radius at one end and consequently rolls in a circle. The other has equal radii and rolls straight. The current driving the motor arises from rolling on aluminium foil. this foil must be very smooth and the surface must be extremely flat for the motor to roll.
