Primary tabs
The Physics lecture demonstration staff provides audio-visual equipment and services for the convenience of Physics faculty, staff, and graduate students running events within LeConte and Birge Halls. Additional services are available campus-wide by Media Services.
LeConte 1 - 4 have the following equipment built in:
- wireless microphone
- video projector
- overhead projectors
- CD/DVD player
- VCR
We provide equipment, including setup, takedown, and assistance to classes including Physics 10, 7A-B-C, H7A-B-C, and Physics 8A-B. It is recommended, particularly concerning PowerPoint presentations, to familiarize yourself with the hall's equipment in advance of your lecture.
For events outside the main LeConte and Pimentel lecture halls:
Physics faculty, staff, and graduate students may borrow equipment from 72 LeConte. Borrowers must sign out equipment and return it promptly after the event. The lecture demonstration staff is not available to deliver, set up, and operate the equipment for users outside the main lecture halls. Also, priority is given to lectures over other seminars or research purposes.
